Lite is a handsome and pop young male with a tendency to dress formally. He's a hardworking genius with a sense of justice just like his father, though he is quite prideful due to his intellect and the abiding praise from others in his life. Calorie-free's ability to plan alee and thinking through possible scenarios fabricated things seem like a game of chess at times. Even so, being then intelligent compared to others in his school- not to mention the classes in general- bored him. Everything was always the same. He easily stayed alee despite his thoughts drifting off occasionally in class; his plans for the time to come, thoughts on justice, and how rotten the earth was becoming with injustice and crime.
Information technology wasn't long until something... strange happened. It all started with a black note book with the words 'Death Note' on the cover. Calorie-free didn't believe the book was anything less than a prank, though it had seemingly dropped out of nowhere. At start nothing seemed different and he went dwelling house and studied like usual. The notebook's mysterious presence however compelled him to investigate further. The rules inside the Death Annotation seemed to exist almost besides become to exist true. This had to be a prank but to be sure he'd have to test information technology out. It wasn't that hard to decide what type of person to test it on; criminals. Light turned on the news and wrote downwards the name of the man on the screen, keeping the criminal's face up in listen as he did and so. Thirty seconds later the man died of a centre set on just similar the rules had stated. Light couldn't believe the power he now held.
A shinigami named Ryuk showed upward soon later Light started using the Death Note. However, he wasn't shocked past the supernatural god of death. If anything he saw Ryuk equally an opportunity to help with his plans and to gain information. Perhaps with a shinigami at his side Light could become a god of this earth and have the brunt of dealing out righteous justice upon the criminals and scum that were causing the rot. After all, despite Ryuk dropping the notebook for him to detect out of boredom; Lite knew he was the only one who would- who could- practise anything nearly the injustice. So despite his initial hesitations on using the Decease Note, he began setting out on a new course to become the earth'southward gauge and jury for justice.
He soon started to become corrupted by his newfound power and became common cold and ruthless towards criminals and those who might arrive his way. Light wasn't a fool though; he made sure to cover his tracks and keep the Decease Notation a hugger-mugger from everyone- especially his father. But his kills started adding up and he had to get involved. L. The man didn't even have a name. Just a letter of the alphabet. Light hated falling for the trap with Tailor- the location was already narrowed down to the Kanto region thank you to it- and knew he'd have to be extra conscientious with his plans. Thankfully, Ryuk warned him when cameras were placed in his house to monitor for suspicious action too equally a detective following him for a few weeks and Light was able to figure out a way to keep killing while also making everything seem completely normal. Ryuk was relieved he could eat apples one time the cameras were removed though.
Suspicions were withal on him but Light managed to kill them off without giving abroad who he was. Everything was fine, he'd even infiltrated the investigation and met his rival, 50. He was aware the strange fellow was suspicious of him but everything was still going co-ordinate to plan... or it was until a 2d Kira showed upwards. Light was aggravated that they might expose both of them with their recklessness but in the finish he managed to gain a completely loyal follower: Misa aka second Kira and her shinigami Rem- the latter was over protective of Misa however. Light knew he'd take to be careful around the female person shinigami. Still, now he had two Death Notes and a new 'girlfriend' to apply as a comprehend for his real motives. All the power seemed to exist in his field for at present... he just had to make certain L didn't figure annihilation out. In this game of wit one sideslip upward would kill the loser.
At one point the two Kira gave up their Death Notes and memories to fool L further and Lite finally had L in bank check mate afterward managing to get the memories dorsum. After he instructed Misa to trade half her lifespan for the shinigami eyes one time more to run into L's real proper noun. It put her shinigami Rem into a position where she would either have to let Misa die or to sacrifice her own cocky to save Misa. As Light expected, Rem chose the latter choice. He'd taken out L, Watari, Rem and was now taking over the investigation in L'south place. Covering his tracks every bit being Kira.
And so Near and Mello came to stop him. They were from the same place every bit 50 but definitely didn't use L'southward methods. Low-cal's opponents were divided and he began 'working' with Near simply knew he'd accept to impale him presently. He was already getting also close to the truth. Soichiro managed to set up that dorsum as he died- using the shinigami eyes to ostend Light had a lifespan- and also managed to say Mello's real name. Low-cal could end off Mello merely knew to bide his fourth dimension. Doing it too soon would arouse suspicion.
Almost was far from easy to take down but Light knew cunning and patience won out in the finish. He selected a spokesperson to spread the give-and-take of Kira and gave him the Decease Note with modified rules about needing to kill. All the same, it wasn't plenty. Near was however suspicious of him and so Calorie-free had Misa cause distractions with her Death Note. Once Takada became a user of the Death Annotation Light approached her, revealing he was Kira, and had his devoted follower create a fake notebook for a plan to have Nigh unknowingly swap the Death Notes.
It didn't end like that though. Near ended upward with the real Expiry Note and in panic Light revealed himself to be Kira to the job force. Realizing he was caught, Kira gave a manical laugh and explained his ideal world to them... not that they cared. Matsuda shot him several times. Misa wasn't there and his follower Mikami couldn't utilise the fake. The only thing Kira had to escape was the risk Mikami gave him upon stabbing himself with a pen. Even Ryuk hadn't helped when he'd asked. The shinigami merely reminding him that he didn't take sides; he was there for entertainment. That was when Light knew his decease was fast approaching.
Ryuk wrote two words in his Death Note: Light Yagami. Low-cal died soon afterwards in a warehouse he'd managed to run and escape to. His wounds and the Decease Note sealing his fate. But a person who dies after using a Decease Note couldn't go to Heaven or Hell. Perhaps he would have a 2d chance- granted in a different class- to bring justice.
